Appliance Discounts is a UK online shop for small home appliances. We sell the things you use every day, kettles and toasters, coffee machines and air fryers, blenders and stand mixers, vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaners, from brands you will already recognise. We are run by APPLIANCE DISCOUNTS LTD from a trading estate in Leeds, and the point of us is simple: keep the business lean so the saving lands with you.

What we sell

Our catalogue holds around 314 products across 4 departments and 23 categories. It is focused on small domestic appliances rather than big white goods, so everything we stock is something you can unbox and use the same day.

The brands on our shelves include Smeg, Ninja, Shark, DeLonghi, KitchenAid, Dyson, Vax, Kenwood, InstantPot, Miele, Numatic, Roborock, NutriBullet, Beko, Jura, electriQ, Rangemaster, Karcher, Hisense, Samsung and Bosch. We are an independent retailer. We are not an official or authorised dealer for any of these manufacturers, and we do not claim to be. How we choose the range

We stock appliances that do one job properly and keep doing it. When we are deciding whether to list something, we look at how it is built, how easy it is to clean and refill in normal use, and how straightforward it is to live with once the box has gone in the recycling.

We would rather carry fewer models and know each of them than list every variation on the market. If a description on our site is unclear, or it does not match what you received, tell us and we will check it. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, and we treat that as a standard for our writing, not just a legal minimum.

Why we run the business this way

There is no showroom, no high street rent, no shop fit and no window display. We operate from Units 8 and 9 Armley Link Trading Estate in Leeds, where the stock sits, gets picked and goes out the door.

That is a genuine trade-off, and you should know which side of it you are on. You do not get to press the buttons before you buy. What you get instead is a lower price, free delivery on every order and a returns policy that lets you change your mind after the box is open.

What we promise on every order

  • We deliver to the United Kingdom only. We do not ship outside the UK.
  • Free delivery on every order. No minimum spend. No delivery charge ever.
  • Orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days.
  • Royal Mail delivers within 3-5 business days after dispatch.
  • 30-day returns for any reason, with free return postage.
  • Refunds are processed within 7 days of the return reaching us.
  • Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable, as required by the Price Marking Order 2004.

Your legal rights, which our policy does not affect

Our 30-day free-returns promise is something we offer on top of the law. It sits alongside your statutory rights and does not replace, limit or shorten any right you already have.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to cancel an online order, and a further 14 days after telling us to send the goods back. That statutory right stands on its own, whatever our own policy says, and you can rely on it even if you would rather not use our 30-day promise.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the goods we sell you must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have 30 days to reject them for a refund. After that you can ask for a repair or replacement, and if that does not put it right, a price reduction or the final right to reject. This is a duty we owe you as the seller. Your data

APPLIANCE DISCOUNTS LTD is the data controller for the personal information you give us. We use it to take payment, get your order to you and handle returns, and we keep it only as long as we need it. You can ask what we hold, have it corrected, or ask us to erase it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority.
